The 6th Annual Protiviti #InternDayOfService Dedicates 1,336 Hours to Community Service

Protiviti celebrated our 6th Annual U.S. Intern Day of Service, a day dedicated to making an impact in our local communities, last Friday, July 19th, 2019. With over 600 participants , including our intern class of 230+ and colleagues and leaders from their offices, they were able to serve their communities with 1,336.5 hours of service! From meal-packing, to making blankets for sick children, to building water filtration systems, the #ProtivitiIntern class came out with smiles to commit in helping their local communities. The cherry on top? This class of interns helped to pack over 224,000 meals towards our global iOnHunger initiative, which aims to fight global hunger.

Charlotte Meal Packing 2019 IDOS 1.jpg — The Charlotte office partnered with Rise Against Hunger to pack over 10,000 meals

The Atlanta interns and their advisors partnered with 100 Black Men of Atlanta to help the Johnson STEM center kick-off the rennovations of their robotics lab, which will have an immediate impact on the community by providing a space for students to collaborate on extracurricular STEM projects.

Dallas IDOS 2019_2.jpg — The Dallas office and their interns helped at the North Texas Food Bank.

Houston IDOS 2019_1.jpg — The Houston interns assisted at The Center for Hearing and Speech in Houston to clean up and reorganize classrooms.

The Kansas City interns supported the Kansas City Pet Project by cleaning/organizing the pet carriers. Plus, they got to spend time with the cutie in the front.

New York IDOS 2019_2.jpg — The New York City interns made cards for a local children’s hospital to try to bring a smile to their little faces!

Wasatch Community Gardens 3 — The Salt Lake City interns helped at the Wasatch Community Gardens who believes that the quality of a community is directly related to quality of food.

Picture 8.jpg — The San Francisco office served meals to families of children with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses at the Nancy & Stephen Grand House.

While we are proud of the dedication and hard work that our interns put forward each and every day, we recognize that there is nothing quite like the annual U.S. Intern Day of Service. Sharing special moments like those when we are giving back to our communities is important – and we simply could not have done it with the #ProtivitiIntern class.
