Kizzy Gift: Transforming Business

What Does This Honor Mean to Kizzy?

Kizzy Gift medium“I am truly humbled to receive this award. I think that it is more of a reflection of the team members I have worked with, the mentors that have invested in me and the support system of family and friends around me,” Kizzy says when asked about what the honor means to her. “I am fortunate to have a village that empowers me to make a difference every day. It is a vivid reminder that when one person wins, we all win and this is why we need to support each other. I am also even more motivated to continue to make a positive impact. I hope this award will inspire and encourage others to never give up.”

Her Impact:

Kizzy is a champion in our business focused on finance transformation, change management, project management and operational enhancement initiatives. She recently helped develop new Financial Performance Management (FPM) materials that will be used in all future proposals but she also is committed to initiatives outside her “day-to-day”. At her local office, she serves as the Diversity and Inclusion Lead. She also recently co-led a live internal webinar about personal brand for Protiviti’s campus recruiting program and has served as a facilitator for Protiviti’s The Intern Challenge training school, mentoring young professionals as they navigate their internship.

Why Consulting?

“I think this job is really exciting because I like what I do,” says Kizzy. “It’s important to like your job because it manifests in your execution, as well as your relationships.” Kizzy is grateful for the many opportunities to diversify her approach to her job. “I can be client-facing, be involved in trainings or challenges, recruiting events or internal projects. I think there’s a diverse amount of opportunities, and it’s almost as if I’ve had several different jobs throughout my career at Protiviti.” She looks to leaders and mentors who help her learn and grow and sees each day as a new opportunity.

One of the core projects that helped Nick has worked on was developing Protiviti’s patch and vulnerability management Managed Technology Solutions offerings, leveraging a mixed team of consultants and contractors to achieve this success.

What Does This Honor Mean to Nick?

“I am humbled to have even been considered for this award.  In addition to highlighting and validating my personal growth over the last nine years at Protiviti, this award is a great recognition of what my team has been able to accomplish in Security & Privacy Consulting and the amount of opportunities that lie ahead for our practice,” Nick says. “I am excited to share this honor with my local office leadership team, who has played a major role in my development, and with several close mentors that have shaped the consultant and person I am today.”

Why Consulting?

“I take a lot of pride in the work that the attack and penetration testing team does at Protiviti,” Britton notes. “In a world where you don’t have to look far to find the latest cyber attack or industry breach, I know that the work we do every day is helping our clients to safeguard their systems, their data, and their customers.”
