Protiviti Announces Enhanced Paid Parental Leave for U.S. Employees

Exciting news at Protiviti!  Our CEO, Joe Tarantino, recently announced an update to strengthen the support we provide to new parents.  Effective immediately, Protiviti will offer up to ten weeks of paid parental leave to U.S. employees who experience the birth or adoption of a child.

This change directly reflects our core values, which move us forward in our journey as an organization.

IntegrityWe are committed to doing the right thing

A growing collection of research indicates that traditional distinctions of primary and secondary caregiver roles perpetuate biases that negatively impact both women and men.  Our new policy better positions all new parents for success and offers the flexibility that is so valued by our workforce.

InclusionOur employees have a voice

Enhancing our paid parental leave is a result of listening and acting on our people’s feedback, which helped us to see a clear opportunity to redesign a benefit that is meaningful and highly valued. We also leveraged bench-marking obtained from organizations such as Working Mother, from whom we have gained recognition as an employer that is actively seeking to better support our working parents.

InnovationEmpowering our people for the future

This change to parental leave joins a suite of benefits that we offer to our working parents so that they and their families can thrive, including a leave concierge service, lactation support and our breast milk shipment program, and backup dependent care.  Working parents are also supported through the Protiviti Parents’ Network, one of the employee networking groups offered through our global diversity and inclusion initiative.

At Protiviti, we are on a journey, and our values guide our way.  We celebrate this milestone and the team we’re traveling with – the team that we champion in work and life.
