Over the past several weeks, Protiviti had the pleasure of welcoming interns from across the country as part of our Summer 2026 internship program. With two cohorts launching in May and June, this year’s onboarding experience once again featured Liftoff with Protiviti and The Intern Challenge. As both sessions come to a close, we’re reflecting on what made this year’s Intern Challenge meaningful, and how it set the stage for a summer of growth, learning, and connection.
Interns began their journey through Liftoff with Protiviti, a blend of virtual onboarding sessions and local office engagement before traveling to Austin for The Intern Challenge. While in Austin, each cohort participated in an immersive five-day experience designed to help them build connections, gain insight into Protiviti, and better understand the work we do with our clients. Through hands-on team simulations, business scenarios, and skill-building workshops, interns collaborated across solution groups, learned from facilitators and leaders, and began developing the confidence and foundational skills needed to succeed in their roles this summer.
Beyond the structured sessions, The Intern Challenge created meaningful opportunities for connection and community. Whether during meals, evening activities, or small group discussions, interns had space to engage more informally, share perspectives, and support one another as they navigated their first days at Protiviti. Each cohort brought its own unique energy to the experience, and we’re grateful for the curiosity, professionalism, and positivity they brought to Austin.
These early relationships often become the foundation for lasting friendships and professional networks, and it’s always exciting to see those connections take shape.
We’re excited to see how they will continue building on the momentum from their training, and appreciate all the contributions our interns bring to Protiviti.
