Reflecting on your Discover Protiviti experience, what was it that you learned or experienced during the program that helped you decide to pursue an internship with Protiviti?

“Reflecting on my Discover Protiviti experience, there were several things that helped me decide to pursue an internship with Protiviti. The first reason was because they provided multiple contacts and resources to help us stay connected with the company and learn more about it outside of the Discover experience. We were also assigned a specific consultant who provided support and guidance before, during, and after the event. Prior to the event, I asked her about her experience at Protiviti; she was invaluable in ensuring I understood my solution and who I could connect with if I still had questions regarding my specific practice. As an intern, how did the Discover Protiviti program positively impact your experience (i.e. making friends before the internship began, developing your network early, pursuing certain classes or trainings to prepare for the internship)?

Now that you are a consultant, what advice would you give to someone attending the Discover Protiviti program in order to get the most out of the experience?
“My advice would be to soak up the experience as much as you can. It can be a bit overwhelming starting a new internship or job, but being in the moment and absorbing all that you can really enhances the experience. Also, don’t be afraid to ask questions!
