On Friday, July 20th, 2018, Protiviti celebrated our 5th Annual U.S. Intern Day of Service, a day dedicated to making an impact in our local communities! Over 650 participants came out strong, including our intern class of 230+ interns. From meal-packing, to cleaning local beaches, to spending time with those in need, our organization dedicated 1,740 hours of community service time and packed over 174,000 meals towards our global iOnHunger initiative.

This summer, 27 cities participated in the #InternDayOfService. Among organizations that were represented were the Ronald McDonald House which partnered with Minneapolis, Kansas City and Indianapolis; Blessings in a Backpack who worked with our Chicago office to pack 1,500 meals for underprivileged children; Dallas Life, where we had the opportunity to host games and activities for over 20 homeless children; and Feeding South Florida, which contributed 30,000 meals packed to the overall count for the day.
The annual U.S. Intern Day of Service is a truly important day to our organization, not only as an opportunity to give back but also as a chance to expose our interns to our commitment to the communities in which we live and work. We are proud of the efforts of both the intern class and our employees for making this day such a success. Thank you all!

Until next year!
