We are absolutely thrilled to announce that two of our Protiviti colleagues were just named to Consulting magazine’s “Rising Stars of the Profession: 35 Under 35” for 2018. Congratulations to Jenna Fitzsimmons and Addie Nickle! This is a great honor and well-deserved recognition from these two stars. The award recognizes employees under the age of 35 for their career accomplishments, leadership skills and community contributions.
Jenna, a Director in our Cincinnati office, was recognized in the financial services industry category while Addie, a Director in our Houston office, was recognized in the client services category. Jenna and Addie were selected from hundreds of U.S. consultants for this honor.
Jenna said, “winning a Rising Star is an incredible honor. It gives me pride and satisfaction that my contributions to Protiviti and to the consulting profession over the past 11 years are being recognized with this award. I really enjoy the interactions with our clients and the ability to help them solve problems. This award encourages me for all the great possibilities that lie ahead for me in the consulting arena in the years to come.”
Addie also took a look back over her career, saying, “When I started my career 11 years ago, I never imagined I would end up being an energy subject-matter expert. However, being in Houston, the energy industry inevitably fell into my lap and was at first intimidating and overwhelming. It was through gracious training and support by my colleagues, a lot of dedicated self-study and research, and, no doubt, quite a bit of patience from my first few energy clients that I am able to provide the assistance and guidance in my consulting work today. Therefore, when told I was selected as a winner, I was extremely grateful and found it gratifying to know all that hard work over the years had not gone unnoticed.”
Not only are Addie and Jenna stars in their respective categories through Consulting magazine, but they are proudly involved in their communities. After Hurricane Harvey made landfall in 2017, Addie displayed her leadership qualities by spearheading an effort to identify and pull together a team of Protiviti employees to volunteer. Likewise, Jenna is known for her willingness to mentor her junior colleagues, to for participating in Protiviti’s Women’s Initiative (iGROWW) and for leading her local chapter of the Protiviti Parents’ Network.
