Houston Gift WrapThe Protiviti Houston office recently partnered with the Wesley Community Center’s Holiday Program by splitting the office into seven teams to adopt seven families for the holiday season. They raised over $6,000 to buy gifts for those families, and during working lunches last week, they wrapped those gifts.  They will deliver the gifts to the families this week.

Everyone knows that the best way to say something is with a poem, so in the spirit of that mindset and the holiday season, our Houston campus recruiter Elizabeth has crafted the following masterpiece.

‘Twas two weeks before Christmas,
And all through the land,
Employees were volunteering
And giving a hand.
They had raised lots of money
For families in need
And helped shop for presents
To put under those trees.
Over $6,000 bought plenty of gifts
To give a sad Christmas a holiday lift.
Together we shopped, wrapped and surprised
Seven families with gifts of all shapes and size.
We’re reminded that there are still plenty without,
And lending a hand is what Christmas is about.
So the last thing I’ll mention, as I sit here and write,
Is Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Thanks for elevating the literary standard of this blog today, Lizzy, and thanks to our Houston office for making an impact even on their lunch break!
