At the beginning of the month, the Houston office took part in their annual community service event benefiting the Kids’ Meals program. Kids’ Meals mission is to end hunger among children through the delivery of nutritious meals to those in need, including bridging the gap for children between the ages 1-5 who are not eligible to receive free breakfasts and/or lunches in school. For the third year in a row, interns and employees at all levels worked together at the Houston Food Bank to help make sandwiches and pack lunches to be delivered throughout the community. Overall, the Houston office contributed to making an estimated 3,000 packed meals while also generating an additional $1600 towards the Kids’ Meals organization through the Robert Half Dollars for Doers program! This community service event gives our office the opportunity to work towards a common goal while continuing to make an impact throughout the community.
