iSustain at Protiviti
iSustain is one of Protiviti’s global employee affinity groups, with a mission to invigorate environmental sustainability awareness and action across the firm. Through the efforts of iSustain members, we spark meaningful change by raising awareness, sharing practical ways to reduce environmental impact, and spotlighting innovative sustainability initiatives led by our teams worldwide.
In Chicago, iSustain is celebrating Earth Day by bringing sustainability to life locally with a Professional Clothing Swap. This initiative encourages mindful consumption by giving pre-loved professional attire a second life while reducing waste and promoting more sustainable workplace habits.
Volunteering on Earth Day
Across our markets, Protiviti team members participate in Earth Day volunteer opportunities, logging service hours and amplifying their impact through firm-supported matching. In the Americas Delivery Center, employees continue to demonstrate environmental stewardship by organizing restoration events in local Ohio parks and communities.
This year, the team is celebrating Earth Day in several ways, including tree-planting initiatives. Volunteers planted small, bare-root saplings throughout natural areas of Kingswood Park in Mason, Ohio. In previous years, the group also led an invasive plant cleanup at Summit Park, further supporting local ecosystems and green spaces.
Climate Change Awareness
To further build awareness and understanding, Protiviti’s Corporate Responsibility team will host a virtual learning event for employees globally, focused on how climate change is affecting industries and how sustainable practices can be integrated into both professional and personal lives. The discussion will highlight how responsible environmental practices not only help protect the planet, but also strengthen enterprise-wide operations, empower our clients, and uplift the communities where we live and work.
