At Protiviti, the Season of Giving is more than a tradition, it’s a reflection of who we are as a company. Each year, our teams come together to create meaningful impact in the communities we serve. In 2025, our commitment to giving is stronger than ever. From local volunteer efforts to global programs, our people live our core values of Integrity, Inclusion, Innovation and Commitment to Success through action. With initiatives like our i on Hunger program, we have delivered more than 17.5 million meals to people facing food uncertainty, and we are not stopping there.

Our People Make a Difference

This season, we’re shining a spotlight on some of the incredible ways our colleagues give back. Their stories remind us that every act of kindness matters and that together, we can create lasting change.

Hannah Speece – Experienced Senior Consultant, Internal Audit & Financial Advisory

Over the past four years, I’ve had the honor of serving on the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for Family Promise of Greater Orlando, stepping into the Treasurer role this year. This organization, which supports families facing homelessness, holds a special place in my heart as no child should have to sleep on the streets or in a car.  Family Promise empowers families with tools and skills to rebuild their lives.

Another holiday tradition I cherish is participating in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program through the Protiviti Orlando office. Shopping for a child or elder and contributing to their Christmas joy is a reminder of the power of kindness and community.

These experiences have shown me the profound impact of giving back. Whether supporting families through Family Promise or spreading holiday cheer with the Angel Tree program, small acts of service can make a lasting difference.

Megan Vollmer – Associate Director, Internal Audit & Financial Advisory

Nine years ago, my husband (then fiancée) added a humble string of Christmas lights to his pickup truck.  Now the truck is adorned with over 10,000 lights, a 9 foot inflatable, 3,000 watts of sound equipment, and a snow machine (not to mention three car seats now).  We’ve also named it the Holly Jalopy.  We originally drove the truck around to simply spread holiday cheer, but in 2020 we began using it to collect donations to support those in need.  We’ve orchestrated food drives (the Holly Jalopy Food Drive Drive), sock and underwear drives to support a local organization to address homelessness (Skivvies for Santa), and most recently diaper drives to benefit those in need during the holiday season.

Since 2020, we’ve collected about 13,000 diapers, 2,500 pairs of socks and underwear, 1,500 food products, and $3,000 in monetary donations- each year bigger than the last.  We have a goal this year of collecting another 10k diapers!

Over the years, we’ve collected for:

  • 2020 – Kirk Care (local food pantry)
  • 2021 & 2022 – St. Patrick Center (local charity to address homelessness in our area)
  • 2023 – no major drive since we were brand new parents, but donated over $1000 to cancer research
  • 2024 – St. Louis Area Diaper Bank
  • 2025 – We are actively gearing up for another big year of collecting for the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank

As we celebrate the Season of Giving, we’re reminded that generosity is not just an action, it’s a mindset that defines who we are at Protiviti. Every story shared, every meal delivered, and every smile sparked reflects the power of our people to create meaningful change. Thank you to all our colleagues for making a difference, today and every day.
