At Protiviti, community service isn’t just something we talk about—it’s woven into the fabric of who we are. This commitment is so integral to our culture that it’s a core part of our summer internship program. We take pride in knowing that Protiviti employees across the globe are actively making meaningful changes in their communities through a variety of philanthropic initiatives.

Making an Impact Through I on Hunger

Many of the volunteer events during this year’s Intern Week of Service supported Protiviti’s i on Hunger initiative, a global mission to provide meals to those in need. With over 17 million meals served to date, this initiative continues to showcase Protiviti’s unwavering dedication to combating hunger and supporting organizations that serve vulnerable populations.

In addition to our interns serving their local communities, they also made an impact through our I on Hunger initiative while at The Intern Challenge, Protiviti’s training program. Our initiative donated over 2400 meals to Caritas of Austin, Texas, an organization that aims to provide a home and tailored services to prevent and end homelessness.

Bettering Our Communities Across the Country

Many U.S. offices hosting Protiviti interns participated in local service events tailored to their communities. Here’s a glimpse at how our interns turned Protiviti’s values into action:

Charlotte: Interns partnered with the Rise Against Hunger to pack and donate over 10,000+ meals that will make a significant impact on global hunger.

Houston: Interns prepared 3,095 sandwiches that were delivered to the doorsteps of Greater Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children.

Seattle: Interns packed meals for those in need in the Greater Seattle Area experiencing hunger, in collaboration with Food Lifeline.

Orlando: Interns counted the inventory of over 300 items in support of Family Promise of Greater Orlando’s back to school event.

Miami: Helped LifeNet4Families prepare the next day’s meal service where they service 250 meals per day and also assisted in sorting clothing donations. LifeNet4Families has provided over 10K pieces of clothing to the local community.

Denver: Interns will be partnering with Colorado Coalition for the Homeless to pack Summer Survival Kits to help the homeless in the Denver area.

Protiviti Thanks Our Volunteers!

While these highlights represent only a snapshot of how our interns are giving back to their local communities,  we are deeply grateful for the many ways Protiviti demonstrates its commitment to our communities. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to every volunteer who participated in these initiatives.

At Protiviti, we believe in the power of each employee to make a difference. Our commitment to community service is unwavering, and we are proud to provide platforms that empower both individuals and teams to create positive change. A special thank you goes out to our interns, who have embraced our values and put them into action this summer. Together, we continue to make an impact and inspire change—one community at a time.
