This month, under the theme ‘Building Legacies: Honoring Innovation & Contributions’, our Black Employee Inclusion Network Group (BEING) is orchestrating a series of experiences and events for our employees aimed at fostering a culture of inclusion and a sense of belonging, see highlights below.  

Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges Conversation

We’re hosting a trailblazing tech innovator and advocate for workplace equity who will share her perspectives and experiences on navigating the digital frontier in an era of perpetual change. 

Building a Deep-Rooted Legacy with Guest Speaker Kim Dickerson

The BEING Mentorship Pillar is dedicated to inspiring growth and development within BEING. This leadership series will feature leaders across various solutions to provide mentorship in a collaborative format. Our objective is to plant seeds of empowerment for participants to grow and prosper in their professional or personal journey!   

Beyond the Headlines: Honoring Black Changemakers

An inspiring virtual event presented by BEING Men, celebrating the lesser-known contributions of Black Americans who have made a lasting societal impact. 

Demystifying Innovation Using Design Thinking Concepts

An interactive workshop hosted by the BEING Education Pillar, which strives to upskill members. This training will highlight how to incorporate innovation into our client work in an approachable and digestible way. ​ 

Local BEING Chapter Events

BEING has ignited a call to action, encouraging local office BEING chapters to embrace the power of in-person events to observe Black Heritage Month. This initiative offers BEING members a chance to forge connections, fostering a sense of community and celebration tailored to their unique geographical culture. This initiative will create meaningful moments that resonate with the spirit of unity and shared identity within the BEING community.

These activities would not be possible without our outstanding leaders. We’re honored to spotlight Josh Cloud who will moderate our Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges Conversation and Champaine Powell who leads our Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) recruiting efforts.
