Today concludes our #ProtivitiIntern onboarding experience. What lies ahead is exciting engagements, learning, and understanding Protiviti’s service lines and networking with colleagues. Before we look ahead to the future, let’s take a journey back to explore our intern’s first week exploring how we at Protiviti Live Something Different.
Our class of 358 interns attended Liftoff with Protiviti: Part I, remotely, on Friday, June 16th, 2023. They explored the tools, the team, and the technology that will set them up for success over their 8 weeks. On Sunday, our future consultants traveled from far and wide to sunny (and hot!) San Antonio, Texas for a week of learning, networking, and developing skills.
Monday continued our Liftoff with Protiviti: Part II exploring our Vision, Mission and Values with Executive Vice President of Global Solutions, Cory Gunderson. Empowering our interns for the future, they learned about Talent Management’s goal to provide interns with a variety of intentional experiences. After choosing their own adventure with learning opportunities, Protiviti’s value of Inclusion was shared while celebrating Juneteenth with a panel of a few ENG leaders moderated by Chief ESG & DEI Officer for both Robert Half & Protiviti, Susan Haseley.
The interns then participated in a teambuilding event, The iOnHunger Amazing Chase for Charity, helping to donate 3,200 meals to the San Antonio Food Bank. We will additionally be collecting and imputing the time into our Dollar for Doers benefit for all attendees, to double the impact by the end of the month.
Our interns were then introduced to our client simulation, GreenChic, by Pat Scott, Executive Vice President of Global Industry, Client Programs and Marketing and Kim Dickerson, Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Technology. Working in teams, they were able to collaborate to identify areas of concern and provide recommendations and areas of improvement.
Joe Tarantino, our CEO and President, spoke to the interns and shared more about the vision for Protiviti’s future. Throughout the week the interns were able to connect with our leaders and their peers, building relationships that they will talk with them as they grow in their careers. Wrapping up the week, Executive Vice President of Global Human Resources, Scott Redfearn spoke about confidence, motivating our interns as they look ahead to the future.
