Congratulation to Matt Taylor, who was recently named to Consulting Magazine’s 2021 Top 25 Consultants List! The award recognizes influential consultants at senior levels who are making a significant impact on their clients, their firms and the consulting profession.

Key Projects
Recently Matt led Protiviti’s biggest risk and compliance project outside the U.S., a KYC remediation project for a global investment bank. For this project, Matt managed Protiviti consultants in the U.K. and the U.S. and 100-plus employees in India. When the pandemic hit, he adapted to ensure everyone could continue to work effectively while working remotely to stay healthy. During this successful two-year project, Matt and his team worked tirelessly to ensure the client requirements were met. While completing the deliverables, the team developed numerous tools tailored to the client’s needs, which the client adopted permanently for ongoing operations.

His efforts invariably bring exceptional results for his clients, and he is a constant inspiration to his colleagues… This large, complex program was a great example. As a direct result of his efforts, the client achieved all the local regulatory requirements, and Protiviti’s work with the client, and associated revenue, increased by more than 150 percent over two years.“

Receiving the award from Consulting Magazine reinforces Matt’s values.
“I joined Protiviti to challenge myself to do something different, be entrepreneurial in nature and move myself out of my comfort zone,” Matt said. “Over the last 16 years I feel I’ve come out of my shell, in part thanks to Protiviti’s supportive culture. This award is recognition that challenging yourself to be something different, pushing yourself forwards and having genuine passion for your career is something of great value.”
