Protiviti Japan attended the 31st Annual Boston Career Forum in November. This marks Protiviti’s 12th year attending the world’s largest Japanese-English job fair, featuring more than 200 global companies and nearly 6,000 candidates.
Each year, bilingual students from Australia, China, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States travel to Boston to learn more about the participating companies, submit their resumes, and interview with their top choice companies. Some students even receive offers of employment during the three-day event.
The Protiviti team interviewed 150+ candidates during the forum. While interviews are typically conducted by our Japanese colleagues in Japanese, this year our North America Campus Recruiting Team supported their efforts by conducting first and second round interviews in English. Being a global company, it’s important that our Japan employees are fluent in Japanese, but also have a working business knowledge of English.
U.S. Campus Recruiting Lead, Casey Jo, said, “I had a great experience interacting with highly educated students who potentially will be my new colleagues in Japan.” She went on to say that she also enjoyed reconnecting with current colleagues from Japan throughout the event.

Congratulations to the entire team on the career forum success. Protiviti looks forward to meeting new recruits from this event in 2018 and 2019!
