Last week New York Office Market Leader Carol Raimo accepted the Corporate Award from Astor Services for Children and Families on behalf of the New York office at their annual gala. This year’s theme was “Breaking the Stigma Around Mental Health.” The award recognizes our New York office’s exceptional contributions to support children and families affected by the stigma associated with mental health and to raise much needed funds to build sustainability for the organization.
For over 60 years, Astor Services for Children & Families has been providing children’s mental health services, child welfare services, and early childhood development programs to traumatized and vulnerable children in the Bronx and the Hudson Valley.
“I proudly accepted the Corporate Award on behalf of our entire office, who has really pitched in and provided wonderful support to the Astor Services organization,” said Carol. “We so highly pride ourselves in our Commitment to Our Communities, and this recognition shows that our hard work is always worth it.”
The New York office has been working with the Astor Services organization for more than two years. Most recently, the office donated gifts to families over the past holiday season and several team members now serve on Astor Services’ Jr. Board.
Astor Young Professionals Board President Nicole Giambarrese said, “Your company was nominated for this award because you have demonstrated the same passion for bringing awareness to children’s mental health in our communities and for your endless support to the Young Professionals Board. The board acknowledges Protiviti’s commitment in creating an environment that is inclusive, collaborative, and even family-like.”
