Earlier this month, I had the privilege of attending the awards banquet for Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For. The morning kicked off with breakfast and lots of laughs as I listened to a panel discussion around building a fabulous culture.
The next session of the morning included a discussion led by Protiviti Managing Director Tyler Chase and Protiviti U.S. Campus Recruiting Lead, Casey Jo Robertson. The two discussed the importance of hiring the right fit and some best practices around recruiting. These breakout sessions can sometimes be very formal, but Casey Jo and Tyler brought the “Protiviti Spark” to their presentation.
After the event, Tyler commented that “it was a great opportunity for us to share the various great things that we do to help identify and attract top talent to work with us.”
The final event of the morning was the awards ceremony! The room was hopping with excitement as the event MC’s, Bill Balleza and Dominique Sachse from KPRC Local 2 news, called out winners for each category. I felt so proud as Protiviti was named one of Houston’s Best and Brightest Companies for the second year in a row!
It’s funny – I always feel proud to say that I work for Protiviti, but I wonder sometimes if I am just biased. I love the culture, the people I work with, and I beam like a soccer mom whenever I hear of our continued success. But is love blind? Moments like the Best and Brightest awards are a continued reminder that it’s not just me. Protiviti works really hard to create a dynamic culture and provide exceptional experiences for its people. It brings me so much pride when organizations like the Best and Brightest recognize that!
