Protiviti is excited to embrace another season of giving back. During this time of year, our teams around the world come together to make a difference, driven by our promises to our people and our commitment to our communities. This year, we have reached a huge milestone with our i on Hunger program having reached its 10-year anniversary! Through that program, we have delivered more than 16 million meals to people facing food uncertainty, demonstrating our commitment to making a positive impact in communities around the world.
Our People Make a Difference
At Protiviti, we celebrate not only the impact of our collective efforts but also the personal stories of our employees who embody our core values through their actions. Meet some of our people and their favorite ways to give back to their communities.
Kelly Anderson – Manager, Internal Audit & Financial Advisory
“Every year the St. Louis Protiviti office participates in sponsoring a family during the holiday season. Additionally, shortly after the holiday season, I participate as a volunteer tax preparer through the St. Louis Tax Assistance Program which offers no-cost tax preparation services for low- and moderate-income families.
An organization that is important to me is the FSHD Society. FSHD (facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy) is a genetic disorder that causes weakening of skeletal muscles, loss of mobility, pain, and fatigue. Several members of my family are affected by the disease. The FSHD Society is working to accelerate research leading to treatment as well as helping those impacted live a better life until a cure is found.”
Brian Ledwith – Associate Director, Internal Audit & Financial Advisory
“My favorite way to give back during the holidays is to give to people in need or experiencing conflict, whether that be donating meals, giving to organizations that support peace building in areas of conflict, or donating gifts to families. My family is so grateful to have a peaceful community, food security, and our basic needs met, so we feel it is important to give to those that do not have these needs met. A few organizations that my family supports are Peace Catalyst International, Compassion International, and World Vision. “
Every day, we are reminded of the incredible power of collective action and the positive change it can bring to our communities. To further amplify the impact of our employees’ contributions, Protiviti will match donations to eligible organizations, as well as volunteer hours, doubling the support provided to our teams’ favorite organizations!
Whether you participate in organized community service events, donate to causes you are passionate about, or use your professional skills to benefit non-profits and charities, your involvement makes a substantial difference. As we move forward, let’s carry the momentum from Giving Tuesday with us, continuing to build a culture of caring and support that extends beyond our office walls and into the broader community.
