In early September, PEOPLEmagazine and Great Place to Work® named Protiviti as one of the 2021 PEOPLE Companies that Care®. It is the first time Protiviti has been named to this prestigious list of organizations that exemplify compassionate professionalism.
As our CEO Joe Tarantino noted, “Companies that care are made up of people who care…this recognition reflects the ways we have demonstrated care for one another, our clients, and our broader communities.”
Meeting the Criteria
To create this list, Great Place to Work analyzed survey responses on workplace culture from more than five million U.S. employees, and also considered factors such as company benefits, the company’s approach to philanthropy, and community support over this past year. Protiviti achieved high scores from respondents who reported that their workplaces make a difference in their lives and the world around them.
To be named to this list each company is required to demonstrate outstanding respect, care, and concern for their employees, communities, and environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Even during the pandemic, we have found creative ways to continue supporting our communities,” said Andrea Spinelli, managing director in our Boston office and iCare’s global leader. Andrea reflected on the wide range of activities our people participated in, including raising funds to buy equipment for first responders, delivering restaurant meals to frontline COVID healthcare workers, creating winter kits for the homeless, taking part in virtual fundraising walks and runs, and organizing virtual meal-packing events for i on Hunger.
Support from Within
As the pandemic evolves, we here at Protiviti continue to support each other, and we’ve also seen the addition of numerous programs that were enhanced or launched to help ease the challenges we’ve faced since the pandemic hit. We’ve shown empathy and compassion for each other as we work from home (with kids), and our offices globally have found ways to support employees as they adapted to life and work during the pandemic.
