For the third year in a row, Protiviti has been named to Working Mother’s “100 Best Companies” list. This list recognizes organizations that are committed to women’s advancement, diversity and inclusion, and a family-friendly workplace culture. Along with this honor, Protiviti also made our debut on Working Mother’s “Best Companies for Dads” list which highlights companies that offer gender-neutral or paternity leave for working fathers after the birth or adoption of a child. We are particularly pleased to be recognized for both these accolades that showcase our commitment to developing a workplace culture where our working parents feel supported and empowered.
Our Commitment to Working Parents
Paid Parental Leave – Removing traditional distinctions of primary and secondary caregiver, we addressed a bias that prevents all individuals from thriving. The updated program has created a stronger sense of gender equity, enabling all parents to access up to 10 weeks of paid time off for the birth or adoption of a child.
Flexible Work Arrangements – Long-term flexible arrangements offer opportunities for employees to make schedule adjustments that fit their needs, including reduced hours, flex hours, or opting for the use of a sabbatical. Protiviti has also adjusted to a #FlexForAll approach during the current pandemic that supports our people (not just working parents!) during these unprecedented times.
Backup Dependent Care – Helps you to arrange dependable care at low, negotiated rates when you’re in a pinch with your care provider. This service is available for care of dependents of any age.
Leave Concierge Program – A pre-identified member of our HR team will support individuals going out on parental leave throughout all phases of the leave process, from helping the employee prepare for leave, supporting the employee while on leave and helping them transition back in to the workplace. The Leave Concierge matches the employee-at-hand with a Parent Mentor who can provide invaluable advice and support.
Workplace Lactation Support – is a program that provides prenatal support, nursing consultations, high-quality breast pumps, and company-paid shipments of breast milk for traveling mothers.
Sabbatical & Global Mobility – While these programs are open to all qualified employees, flexible work arrangements and extended leave options can be particularly meaningful to new and/or young parents who want to take extra time during a transitional life event.
Protiviti Working Parents of the Year
We’re proud to celebrate our two working parents of the year, as named by Working Mother magazine, Jessica Harrison and Jose Behar!
Jessica Harrison, North American Head of Human Resources from our San Francisco office, will represent Protiviti as our Working Mother of the Year. Jessica champions the programs that helped us earn this award and shares her personal and professional journey.

Jose Behar, a Managing Director in our Orlando office, has the honor of representing us as Protiviti’s Working Dad of the Year. Jose co-sponsors the Protiviti Parents Network, and shares his strategies for work-life integration in this Working Mother article, The Inspiring Stories of the 2020 Working Dads of the Year.
