Happy National Bring Your Child to Work Day!
At Protiviti, we often stress bringing your whole self to work. In doing so, we believe we build a strong, authentic culture that nurtures diversity and inclusivity. For our working parents, that means providing opportunities to include their families. Throughout our organization, we often see summer outings that include family members, holiday parties where significant others join, community service where additional friends and family help – and we love it! However, my favorite inclusive event of the year is, hands down, Bring Your Child to Work Day (BYCTWD).

Across the nation, our parents network partnered with their local offices to plan a day filled with fun, smiles and lots of learning about what mommy or daddy do! From decorating cookies, to drawing what they want to be when they grow up, and even getting to interview a few Protiviti employees, we work to engage our greatest assets – our children. Plus, you can never recruit them too young, right?!

So what else does BYCTWD entail? Each office caters the agenda differently based on ages of those participating but we always have something unique and exciting that promotes our corporate values to our younger generations! In many offices, children of employees will participate in a community-based event where we stress the importance of helping others. Many of these events support our iOnHunger initiative! There are also other special events that take place like the musical story-teller who came to our Chicago office, a scavenger hunt in Orlando, and cookie decorating in Pittsburgh.
While today, April 26th, 2018, is the national date for BYCTWD, our offices will continue to engage the extended Protiviti family throughout the year. I look forward to keeping everyone updated with this information (and more of these really cute photos). For a look back on the success of our past BYCTWD, you can check that out here.
