Twice a year, we are proud to celebrate and recognize employees that have been promoted into a new role. As such, we are excited to continue to introduce some of our newly promoted colleagues. Throughout the short remainder of this month, we will spotlight a few more these individuals in celebration through this #ProtivitiPromos series. Next up in our series, we are headed to our nation’s capital to meet newly promoted Risk & Compliance Associate Director, Sowmya, in our Metro D.C. office!

Sowmya

Years at Protiviti: 3 years

Path to Protiviti: “I started my career in an Analyst program at a financial institution.  Within that company, I eventually moved in to their risk management division.  After some time, I then decided to pursue grad school full-time at American University in D.C., which I loved every minute of! It was a great experience to go to school in such a diverse, globally-minded and culturally rich city. After graduating from American, I joined Protiviti right and have been here ever since!”
