Twice a year, we are proud to celebrate and recognize employees that have been promoted in to a new role. As such, we are excited to continue to introduce some of our newly promoted colleagues. Throughout the remainder of this month, we will spotlight a few of these individuals in celebration through this #ProtivitiPromos series. Next up in our series, we are headed to the Windy City to meet newly promoted Technology Consulting Manager, Da’Veed, in our Chicago office!
Years at Protiviti: 5 years
Path to Protiviti: “I was a campus hire that came to Protiviti after completing my MBA at Robert Morris University in 2012.”
Current Solution: Technology Consulting – Governance, Risk and Compliance Advisory (GRC)
What do you enjoy about building your career at Protiviti? “I really have enjoyed that from day one, I had the ability to learn from and work closely with leadership and subject matter experts.”
Memorable Protiviti Experiences: “One of my most memorable experiences at Protiviti thus far, was my time spent at The Consulting Challenge School. I was able to connect with colleagues from all over the world and really had a chance to learn not only about their solutions and industries, but also about their cultural experiences in different regions of the globe.”
What does life outside of work look like? “In my free time, I coach men’s basketball at a local Chicago community college. As a former collegiate athlete, I find it quite rewarding to help student athletes work through college and achieving their goals on and off the court”
How are you celebrating or commemorating this important career milestone? “I was able to go out to dinner with my daughter and girlfriend to celebrate my promotion. Even though my daughter is just 3 years old, she gave me a big congratulations!” (see picture below for cuteness overload)

“Da’Veed is an integral member of our GRC Technology Advisory Team. While he has direct responsibilities for the sales and delivery of Governance Portal related projects, Da’Veed has also been heavily involved with our third party vendors, working closely with MetricStream on a number of projects. In addition, he also continues to help our clients through solution-related activities, ranging from organizing and documenting client requirements, to grading out possible vendors and solutions. DaVeed’s promotion to Manager reflects his dedication to our client’s and his growing knowledge of all things governance, risk and compliance related. Our team is excited for Da’Veed as he achieves this milestone in his career.”
