It was an exciting morning here at the Intern Challenge! US Campus Recruiting Lead (and birthday girl) Casey Jo Chapman kicked off Orientation with a group activity allowing our interns to spend a little time getting to know each other. 
After meeting a few of their summer teammates our Director of Talent Acquisition, Elaine Poucher, introduced the concept of Living Protiviti. She explained that Living Protiviti is the idea of bringing your career to life by blending the things you value both at home and in your career. Elaine shared a few of the things that inspire her including her family, her colleagues and of course, her National Champion Golden State Warriors. She then asked our Interns to do the same. Words such as family, community, diverse work experiences and travel were predominantly displayed.
Following Elaine, our Executive Vice President Scott Redfearn introduced himself. He shared his background and his path to Protiviti. He encouraged our interns to give back and get involved in their community, then shared the value in building the right foundation and developing skills that will set you up for a lifetime of success. Scott summarized the presentation by saying “You get where you are going by focusing on the basics”.
With a successful morning under their belts and the stage set, the interns are now off to their orientation classrooms. Stay tuned for more updates!
