The Ft. Lauderdale team got to feel like kids – while helping kids – when they headed out to Build-a-Bear for a special team-building event.
Consultants Alexis and Samantha coordinated the effort to donate 30 cuddly companions to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation in the Ft. Lauderdale area. The team spent their time at Build-a-Bear playing a few games and, of course, stuffing animals.
The team played a game of ‘Ninja’ and tried to hit their neighbor’s hand in one swift move.
Then they practiced their interviewing skills by asking questions to find their ‘match’. With names on their backs, they had to first figure out who they were, and then team up with their ‘other half’ like ‘Jay-Z’ and ‘Beyonce’ (pictured).
In Build-a-Bear tradition, each bear was given a heart and stitched up before all 30 bears were donated to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation as gifts for the children!
Everyone had a great time getting to know one another and giving back to the community.
