Twice a year we take some time to celebrate individuals who were recently promoted to new career levels across the organization. Throughout the month of January, we will spotlight a handful of those professionals through our #ProtivitiPromos series. As we celebrate these dynamic career milestones, we will dig deeper to learn who the person behind the promotion is. So, what does an Associate Director in Phoenix look like? Let’s ask Matt!

- Background and Path to Protiviti: “I started at Protiviti 9 and a half years ago after graduating from The University of Arizona with a degree in Accounting.”
- What do you enjoy about building your career at Protiviti? “I love that every day is different and that every project is a new challenge and an opportunity to learn something new or solve a new problem.”
- Who has contributed to your success or been a mentor to you during your Protiviti career? “My mentor Nichole Minice has been a huge help throughout my career at Protiviti. I’ve been lucky enough to work on various projects with her since my first month on the job and have learned so much from her and the rest of our leadership team in Phoenix.”
“Someone You Can Count On”
Managing Director Nichole has worked with Matt throughout his career. What does she have to say about his evolution?
“I am very proud to have worked with Matt from his start as a consultant, to being his career advisor, to now watching him manage clients, build relationships and expand the work in our Phoenix market” says Nichole.
She continued “Matt is someone you can count on to tackle any project and deliver quality work. He understands the big picture yet has a grasp of the details so nothing gets overlooked. Matt’s passion for solving problems (particularly if it is investigative in nature) is infectious. Matt has been instrumental in building an amazing team through mentoring and coaching to being heavily involved in recruiting. And finally, anyone that has spent even the smallest amount of time with Matt will know that his biggest passion (second only to his wife and daughter) is his alma mater, University of Arizona, Go Cats!”
Nichole continued “I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to observe Matt’s accomplishments and very much look forward to seeing his continued growth and success!”

So proud of you Matthew
