Today our Protiviti San Fransisco interns and employees gathered together, put on a hair nets and plastic gloves, and worked with each other to pack 500 bagged lunches for the homeless in Downtown San Francisco! Each bagged lunch had a fresh banana, healthy granola bar, and a PB&J sandwich. All 500 sandwiches were donated to Glide Church, where the city’s poor, homeless, and hungry can be provided a free nutritious meal.
Following the event, San Francisco Recruiter Candace commented, “Last week, I overheard a homeless man on the bus talking about how much he enjoys the coffee at Glide. It really warms my heart to know that he may also be enjoying one of our bagged lunches today.”
