According to the United Nation’s World Food Programme, 1 in 7 people globally go to bed hungry each night. Protiviti’s 3500+ professionals recognize we have an important role to play in helping to address the critical problem of word hunger, and our summer interns would agree! Last night at The Intern Challenge in Orlando, we gathered around tables and managed to pack a collective 110,000 meals! While dancing, cup stacking and a steps competition was involved, the interns and facilitation team put their gloves and game faces on to fill empty boxes with packaged meals as efficiently as possible.

The i On Hunger campaign Protiviti launched nearly 2 years ago has transformed our way of thinking and the way we give back to our communities. Having hit our 2016 goal of 2.6 million meals, we are now planning to work towards 3 million meals!

The interns took advantage of time with our CEO, Joe Tarantino, who is here spending the week with us in Orlando!

We recognize we are still a long way from eliminating hunger, but look forward to continuing to make an impact on our communities and celebrating this incredible accomplishment.

2.6 million
A major milestone was accomplished last night when Protiviti reached the 2.6 million collective meals packed as an organization

A big thank you to each person that helped us achieve this notable accomplishment, and for reinforcing that #Protiviticares! Now on to Day 2 of The Intern Challenge!
