Last week, Protiviti participated in Bring Your Child to Work Day, also known as Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, also known as one of the most playful days of the year! The event was led by the Protiviti Parents’ Network and involved several offices from across the United States. “We were very excited to see so many office communities rallying around this event,” says Bridget O’Malley, the HR lead of our Parents’ Network and a parent herself. “The day was a way for us to celebrate our working parents and their families, not to mention have a little fun together.
But what did our kids do all day at work?
In New York, the day kicked off with the story of King Joe, none other than CEO Joe Tarantino, who paid the children a visit later in the day.
The morning also involved a little bit of creative brainstorming.
In Chicago, the day started with a “team meeting”..
… which also involved some really yummy snacks.
Orlando helped in our i On Hunger initiative by packing meals for some very hungry kids..
and San Francisco learned that the best part of working together is making new friends.
All in all, it was a very successful day with lots of new things learned. Kids and parents alike were reminded that while work can be exhausting…
… it can also be one of the most rewarding experiences when we tackle it together!
