The New York Office started off the day delivering 340 meals around the Manhattan area for 2.5 hours! With around 50 Protiviti employees, we were able to help out the local Meals on Wheels organization to provide meals for those in need. The New York City Meals on Wheels chapter strives to provide nourishment for our homebound while saving healthcare and taxpayer dollars. It was a great opportunity for the office to not only give back to the community but also for Interns, Consultants, and Directors to work together outside of work. We split into small groups and walked house to house to drop off packaged meals. It was great to see the impact we were making on the people and the organization this morning. Everyone had a fun time helping out and we look forward to working with Meals on Wheels again in the future.
