Over the course of the summer in Chicago, we 28 interns have had the opportunity to wind down (or up) at happy hours, cheer on one of the local sports teams at a rooftop Cubs game, volunteer and network with a group of area high school students, take in the sights on a Chicago architecture boat tour, and engage in friendly competition with an afternoon of Whirlyball.

As our summer comes to a close at Protiviti, our wonderful Chicago campus recruiter, Kristen, gave us the opportunity to write a blog post about our experiences in Chicago. We thought we’d try something different and bring everyone along on a photo story of our architecture boat tour into Lake Michigan and down the Chicago River. Over the course of the time on the boat, we able to see many of the sights of Chicago, including the Willis Tower, the John Hancock Center, Buckingham Fountain and Navy Pier. We were even able to experience a water lock, which was a first for many of us.

We hope you enjoy the photos we took during one of the Chicago intern events!
