Today Dallas helped AVANCE by assisting with their Toy-making project which has always been a vital part of the service model. Through toy-making, parents realize what is meant by “learning through play.” AVANCE believes that children’s experimenting leads them to learn basic concepts and skills; playing allows children to learn about their environment and the world, about color, size, texture, quantity, distance, weight and placement.
