Earlier this month 31 Protiviti employees from the Houston office participated in a 150 mile bike ride to help improve the quality of life for people affected by Multiple Sclerosis and to raise funds for MS research. The course was split over two days and 150+ miles as riders biked from Houston, TX to Austin, TX.

Along the way, Protiviti (partnered with Vantage Drilling) had several tents for riders to take a break. Other employees volunteered to help set up, cook food, and cheer on our riders as they pushed through day one and the first 82 miles.

After surviving day one, riders camped out in La Grange, TX. Here they enjoyed showers, a massage, and good food as they prepared for their second and final leg of the ride. They woke up Sunday, warmed up their muscles and powered on as they finished their ride to Austin, TX.

In the end, Protiviti’s 31 riders were able to raise almost $37,000 for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society!! Rumor has it; they are already gearing up for next year!
