On Saturday, March 16th, the Protiviti Los Angeles Office was able to participate in a Networking Community Service event coordinated by the Loyola Marymount University (LMU) Accounting Society as a part of Heal the Bay’s Nothing But Sand Cleanup. Heal the Bay, a non-profit environmental group, hosts various events throughout the year to restore the Santa Monica Bay. LMU is one of our campuses in which we focus recruiting efforts in Southern California, especially since our office and West Region Managing Director, Tom McClune, is an Alum. Go Lions!
The annual Beach Cleanup Networking event was held in Venice Beach, CA. Consultants & Alumni Sandra Mercado (2012 grad) and Jennifer Monohan (2011 grad) represented Protiviti at the event wearing their Protiviti hoodies!!!
The ladies were able to help the environment while meeting some students! Jennifer stated that the event was “a great opportunity to meet a few students that will be participating in the upcoming summer conference for sophomores to be held in the Los Angeles office this July!”
