The college football season is under way, and with it, all the old rivalries (as well as some new ones). Before the next round of competition kicks off tomorrow, check out two games from last Saturday that brought our people together in some fun and unique ways.
Purdue vs. Notre Dame
Gary and Billy interned this past summer and accepted offers for full-time positions after graduation. Now they are back on campus at Notre Dame, enjoying their last year as students (insert Billy Madison quote, “Stay as long as you can!!!”). This past weekend, they tailgated with Protiviti’s CEO, Joe Tarantino, as well as Jim Pajakowski, who leads the our global risk solutions business. How many interns can say they tailgate with their CEO?
Florida vs. Texas A&M
Meanwhile, down in Texas, things were ramping up in College Station as the Aggies embarked on their first game as part of the SEC. To celebrate the occasion, TAMU alumni from Dallas and Houston played host to Martin, an Associate Director in our Tampa office (and more importantly, a Gator). From Midnight Yell to the pre-game tailgate, fun was had by all, and while the Gators emerged victorious, Martin handled the win with the level of class expected of Protiviti sportsmanship.
