When you think about risk and business consulting, the first thing that comes to mind is probably not fashion – but clearly you have not been to the Phoenix Protiviti office. Every quarter the office comes together to host an Initiative for Growth and Retention of Women at Work (iGroww) event. iGroww was established to support and educate women about professionalism and how to succeed in the workplace.
This quarter’s event theme was ‘Dress for Success’, named after one of the office’s annual charity drives (and incorporated into this event).  The drive focuses on donating new and gently used professional clothing items. To lead our event, Protiviti welcomed a style expert from Ann Taylor to our office to share her knowledge about business casual attire and tips for staying fashionable while still being work appropriate. Prior to the event, a few lucky ladies spent some time playing dress up with an Ann Taylor style expert to prepare for the fashion show. Our expert created unique looks by pairing bold colorful accessories with classic business staples such as blazers, trousers, and button ups.
On the day of the event the Protiviti team gathered in the office to support the brave employees who volunteered to model in the charity event fashion show. After a lovely lunch, the models took their places in line and prepared for the main event. As the models showcased their stylish, flattering, and  office appropriate looks, our Ann Taylor expert explained every look along the way. We learned all of the insider tips and tricks about how to be fabulous and how to wear statement pieces such as scarves, colorful belts, and layered jewelry.
All of the ladies left with a new confidence on how to look and feel great when wearing business casual and how to stay true to our individual styles. Overall, the event was a fashion success!

  1. Another successful fashion show, indeed. 🙂 The thought of the “Dress for Success” event is marvelous. It just shows that being employed shouldn’t stop women from being fashionable and stylish. Every woman deserves to look beautiful at all time, even when the going gets tough.
