Protiviti Dallas represents at the 2011 Autism Speaks Walk

On Saturday, November 12th, the Protiviti Dallas Office sent over 50 volunteers to the 2011 Autism Speaks Walk. Autism Speaks is dedicated to increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders, to funding research into the causes, prevention and treatments for autism, and to advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Over 8500 people were present at the event and over $500,000 was raised for the cause. Protiviti volunteers managed the registration table, passed out t-shirts to supporters, helped out at the information desk and most importantly, accounted for all of the money collected on the day of the event. It was an incredible effort by our team and something we were proud to be a part of – some of us even saw Elvis!
